Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Badrinath Temple is also called Badrinarayan. Badrinarayan means Badri and Narayan, It is a dual form of these two names. In the 9th century, Badrinath Temple was re-established by Adi Sankara. and after that, this temple was Expanded by the Garhwal Kings. This Temple is also most important for Char dams.
